Adult Specialist Clinics provide planned medical, nursing and allied health outpatient services for people who need to see a specialist for diagnosis, treatment, or pre- and post-hospital care.
Patients are referred to Specialist Clinics by GPs, specialists, and other community-based health care providers, as well as clinicians in emergency departments, inpatient wards and other areas of the hospital.
