Westside Lodge is a 30-bed mixed gender residential rehabilitation facility, offering a three-month-long therapeutic program for people experiencing problematic drug or alcohol use, as well as mental health issues.

Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA), Provisional Fellowship positions and non-aligned but accredited positions

All clinical placements in anaesthesia for trainees in Emergency Medicine are organised through the Department of Emergency Medicine at Western Health.​

The department provides 5 hours per week in hours structured tutorial programs for anaesthesia trainees preparing for the ANZCA Initial Assessment of Anaesthetic Competence (IAAC), Primary and Final examinations. The Primary program is conducted with the collaboration of other departments within the North-western training program. Staff also support trainees through providing feedback on trial written examinations and conducting realistic mock vivas for the medical and anaesthesia vivas.​
