Podiatry (Bacchus Marsh, Melton, Caroline Springs)

We diagnose and treat a number of foot, ankle and lower leg conditions as part of our allied and community health services.

What we do

Our podiatrists provide treatment and diagnosis for an extensive range of foot, ankle and lower leg conditions.

Assessments can involve checking how people walk and recommending custom or prefabricated foot orthoses. The podiatrists can assess children’s feet and perform gait analysis.

Our podiatrists can perform assessments to check blood flow and sensation to determine if patients are at risk of foot ulceration. They also perform annual diabetes foot assessments and wound management for the treatment of foot ulceration.

If needed, nail surgery can be performed on ingrown toenails. The podiatry team also recommend and fit medical grade footwear.
