Join us for a night of delicious food, networking and to hear from staff across Western Health as they present their innovative projects. With APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR 2026

This initiative provides $50,000 to support a staff-led project aligned with Western Health’s Strategic Direction. Consideration will be given to projects that reduce barriers and improve health access and outcomes for all patients, especially where the greatest inequities exist. Shortlisted applicants will receive external coaching on how to prepare their project for presentation at Pitch Night, 27 August 2026, where the winning project will be selected.

Eligibility and Conditions of Application

This application process is open to all Western Health employees. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being inclusive, and to being a place where everyone is welcome. We particularly welcome applications from women, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those from diverse cultural backgrounds and abilities. We believe diversity is representative of the community we serve and fosters the innovation our community needs.
Applicants must be available for the selection process, including presenting your project at Pitch Night on 27 August 2026.

Proposals must demonstrate an impact or benefit in line with Western Health's Strategic Direction as well as reduce barriers and improve health access and outcomes for all patients, especially where the greatest inequities exist.
Proposals must have appropriate support from within your division and must meet Western Health’s procurement, capital, employment or other policies and procedures.

This grant has been made possible through the generous donations of the Women+ for Western Health Giving Circle members and corporate sponsors. The aim of the Giving Circle is to increase the impact of individual giving, by pooling funds raised and providing members with the opportunity to vote in the selection of the winning project.
