The Urology team see people with diseases of their kidneys and urinary tract. We are responsible for treating patients with a variety of Urological conditions involving cancer, stone disease, surgical intervention and general urological conditions at Footscray Hospital, Sunshine Hospital and Williamstown Hospital.
Poorly controlled renal or ureteric colic
Acute urinary retention
Urinary tract trauma
Torsion of testes
Urinary tract septicaemia

Please note referrals that do not contain the minimum investigations outlined above will be returned with a request for more information. Referrers have 30 days to respond to a request for more information otherwise the referral will not be accepted.
MBS patients are bulk billed. Referrals need to be to the named Head of Unit.
