Dr Azim Jalali is a medical oncologist at Western Health. He completed his advanced training in medical oncology in major hospitals in Melbourne and received the fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2017 and joined the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research as a Clinical Research Fellow in Personalised Oncology Division where he has been actively involved in clinical trials and medical research in treatment of bowel cancer. He also consults at Latrobe Regional Hospital one day per week.
Dr Caitlin Murphy studied at the University of Melbourne, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts in 2007. In 2015, she was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in recognition of her advanced training in Medical Oncology. During her last year of training Caitlin completed a fellowship in Clinical Trials Research at Western Health and in the same year obtained a special certificate in clinical research from the University of Melbourne. In 2019 she obtained a Masters of Applied Science through Deakin University for her work in breast cancer genomics.Caitlin currently works at Western Health, Sunshine Hospital, in the breast oncology unit and at Barwon Health, University Hospital Geelong, in the GU and CNS clinic..

Jayne Watson has been a registered nurse for 13 years. Her current role as a Clinical Nurse Consultant managing the Symptom Urgent Review Clinic (SURC) at Sunshine Hospital since September 2013 has provided education and symptom support to patients and their family undergoing chemotherapy at Western Health through a phone triage service and Nurse-led clinic. Jayne has a special interest in chemotherapy symptom / side-effect management and support, and patient education. Jayne is currently undertaking her Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice, due to complete mid 2021. Jayne remains a member of ANSA, HSANZ and ISNCC.
