Western Health provides dedicated medical and surgical care for newborns and children. Sunshine Hospital’s emergency department has a specific paediatric focus with dedicated paediatric emergency specialists. Paediatrics is the branch of medicine that specialises in the care of sick children.
The Children's Specialist Clinics and Adolescent Health Service provide services to help in the management and support of children and adolescents aged 0-18. Our Young Adult Diabetes Service (YADS) assists 15-25 year olds transition into the adult diabetic services.
Our Children’s Allied Health Service provides expert assessment and therapy for children.
Our Women's specialist clinic service incorporates a general gynaecological service as well as Urogynaecology, Family Planning and a Well Women’s Service.
