Western Health hopes to make your stay in hospital as comfortable as possible. Here is some information about our facilities that you may want to know before your visit.
Meal times
Western Health provides a choice of meals and will supply special diets where this is part of your medical care or to meet your cultural needs. Hot and cold drinks are available at morning tea, afternoon tea and supper. Consideration can be given to relatives or friends supplying familiar dishes. However, food should not be supplied to patients by visitors without the permission of nursing staff as it may not be suited to treatment.
The inpatient meal times are as listed below and are served during these periods.
Breakfast
Delivery time is 7.35am – 8.25am for all wards
Morning Tea
Delivery time is 10.00am – 10.30am for all wards
Lunch
Delivery time is 12.00pm – 12.45pm for all wards
Afternoon Tea
Delivery time is 2.00pm – 3.00pm for all wards
Dinner
Delivery time is 5.00pm – 6.00pm for all wards

An ATM is located on the ground floor, next to the Opportunity Shop, in the corridor between the main entrance and the information desk.

Craft Auxiliary
Stalls are held on the ground floor on the first Thursday of every month selling home made items, hand knitted rugs/ children’s clothes and socks.
