General oncology is a specialised cancer clinic where we review, investigate and treat cancers when the type of cancer is not known. In addition, patients with rare forms of cancer which do not fit into another specific clinic are managed in our General Oncology Clinic.

Referrals
Patients will need a referral from their GP or medical practitioner to attend a specialist clinic. Please bring;
copies of any films or disks with images of any scans or tests, and
any medications that you are currently on.
This will help our doctors see what tests you have already had and know how to help you best.
Referrers
Please refer here for information about referring a patient. Referrals should be addressed to a named Medical Oncologist from the list above. Cancers are considered urgent referrals. for suspected cancer are considered urgent referrals.
