To have an Adult Specialist Clinics (Outpatients) appointment:
You need to have a referral from your local General Practitioner (GP)
Your GP will fax your referral to us
A letter will be sent to you to tell you that we have received your referral
You will be placed on a waiting list
We will offer you an appointment as soon as it is available
We experience high demand on services. Many clinics have waiting lists for appointments. These waiting lists can be long and it can take time for an appointment to be available. It is important that you tell your local doctor (GP) if your condition gets worse or changes.
Patients on the waitlist are seen in order of clinical urgency/priority. Please make sure your personal details and phone number are correct.
For referring professionals, please ensure that all relevant clinical information such as recent blood tests, x-ray results etc. are included on the referral to allow for timely processing and prioritisation of referrals.
