What to bring to your Adult Specialist Clinics (Outpatient) appointment

 

Please bring the following with you to your appointment if applicable:

• Appointment letter

• Medicare Card

• Pension Concession Card

• DVA Card

• TAC Number

• Work Cover Number

• Most recent blood test(pathology) results

• List of current medicines

• Most recent X-ray/MRI/CT films/report

• Most recent Mammogram films/report

• Most recent Ultrasound films/report 

You will not need to stay overnight when attending appointments in Adult Specialist Clinics.

You may experience long waiting times whilst in the department. We recommend that you: 

• Allow for child care

• Allow for parking

• Bring something to occupy your time – for example a book or magazine

• Bring a snack

Please be patient with staff as long waits occur for many reasons that are outside of their control.
