Western Health is closely monitoring developments regarding the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and is taking directed precautions. We have put into place a number of actions to keep our pregnant community safe whilst continuing to provide a high level of care. To ensure the health and safety of our patients, visitors and staff we will not be running maternity tours at either Joan Kirner Women's and Children's at Sunshine or Bacchus Marsh Hospital.
We are conscious that if you're coming in for a clinic appointment or coming in to give birth, it helps reduce stress on the day if you know ahead of time where you need to go once you get to hospital.
