Western Health provides mental health and wellbeing services for people living in western metropolitan Melbourne.
We deliver a range of specialist, community, and hospital-based mental health services for people who are experiencing, or at risk of developing serious mental ill-health.
We work with people who have a range of diagnoses, such as:
Anxiety disorders
Bipolar disorder
Depression
Mood disorders
Personality disorders
Psychosis
Schizophrenia
Those at risk of harm to themselves or others
Those with more than one disorder, including drug and alcohol-related issues

We provide a range of acute, specialist, residential, community, inpatient and mental health support services across the western suburbs of Melbourne.
As of 1 July 2023, Western Health is a newly designated Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. This means that many of our consumers have previously received treatment, care and support from NorthWestern Mental Health (NWMH), a part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
This change has occurred as a result of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System and affects people who live in western metropolitan Melbourne.

Western Health provides comprehensive care to a rapidly growing, multicultural community of more than a million Melburnians.
